My Vows

I am not my body nor my mind.

I am consciousness. Spirit and heart.

My body is the vessel in which I am held.

My mind is the processor of this life.

I am grateful for body and mind.

They have carried me and held me through this life

They have given me much pleasure

and blessed me with the ability to feel and think.

I will no longer allow shame for their humanity

I will no longer demand eternal youth

I will no longer look in the mirror and demean my appearance

I will no longer advise people of my many faults

I will no longer judge my performances

In my heart and soul, I pledge to embrace my divinity

Know my worth

And, I pledge to love and honor this amazing vessel that I’ve been given from this day forward and until death do us part.
